Danielle Bird → Chief Strategy Officer
After more than 20 years at GDP, Danielle steps into a role that unifies our brand and editorial practices under one visionary leader. She’s exactly who today’s CMOs need for their most critical creative and communications challenges. Her leadership across each of GDP’s core functions has been pivotal to so many of our most successful projects.
During her time here, Danielle has spearheaded major strategic breakthroughs for many of our clients. Her editorial charter work for National Geographic drove the renowned publication’s entire rebrand. She helped define the future for Palo Alto Networks as the company took leadership in the cloud security space. Danielle has partnered with some of the most ambitious and inspirational industry leaders, from IBM and TED to InterSystems and Microsoft—all while bringing the experience, credibility, respect, and, let’s be honest, sharp humor that make her a force across our entire agency.
And she will continue her brilliant work strategizing brand narratives with steady leadership and unrivaled insightfulness as we tackle our next challenges.
Andy Mera → Chief Creative Officer
Original ideas have always mattered in marketing and communications, but as AI-driven tools make execution increasingly accessible, their value has only increased. Throughout his 20-plus-year career, Andy Mera has helped some of the world’s leading technology companies find the ideas that define them.
At Splunk, he led the company’s global integrated campaign, which included a Super Bowl spot. At Snowflake, he helped define the AI Data Cloud narrative and led the brand’s first national television campaign, which aired during the Winter Olympics. Earlier, as a Creative Director at GDP, he authored some of the agency’s most recognizable work, including IBM’s “Does Your Business Think?” and Adyen’s “Business. Not Boundaries.”
Andy rejoins GDP to help write its next chapter and lead the agency’s creative ambitions at the highest level, continuing a tradition of originating memorable ideas and bringing them to life with exceptional craft.
